Counsellor Directory
This innovative membership service serves to promote business information about your counselling practice, specialized services and skills as well as the ability to upload a profile picture and business logo. With futurist trends heading towards a generation that seeks information online as well as a specific set of skills, knowledge and experience, the CPCA believes this directory will provide a competitive edge for marketing our member's counselling services across Canada to the public, insurance providers, EAP contractors and government for verification of your legitimacy. All members who are in "good standing" will be approved to list their contact information in the directory on an annual basis. It allows our members to login to their directory listing once it has been approved and make any changes to their contact information.

Description
People seek therapy for many different reasons, whether to navigate challenging life situations, explore personal growth, or find support during difficult times. Does any of this sound familiar? You might have experienced difficult situations, emotional abuse as a child or adult or a loss that has left you feeling disconnected, ashamed or overwhelmed. Perhaps you feel that you are somehow different than others. Maybe you are struggling with feelings of depression or anxiety that make it difficult to feel fully present or connected to yourself or others. If any of this sounds familiar, you are not alone. Therapy can help you process whatever you are going through and what you have experienced in the past. I would be honoured to be able to support you in your journey toward healing and well-being. I believe that we all deserve support.
In our work together I provide a safe, non-judgmental space for you to be, talk and process. This in itself can be helpful. However, I also like to use different therapy approaches to find what works best for you to create new perspectives, new habits, and feel better. I have been trained in several modalities, including CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman’s Couple Therapy, EFT, and many more. We find together what is most supportive for you on your journey.
I understand how difficult it can be to carry the weight of the past and face life’s challenges. I would love to encourage you to reach out when you are ready. We can schedule a free 30-min online consultation to discuss what your challenges are, where you want to go and how I can best support you. I look forward to hearing from you.
